Raymond Meschnark Obituary
RAYMOND MESCHNARK Raymond James Meschnark Jr., 86, of Henderson, passed away Dec. 10, 2011. He was born April 15, 1925, in Peoria, Ill., and was a 52-year resident of Nevada. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, was an engineer for the Santa Fe Railroad and a surveyor for the Nevada Test Site. Raymond also was an avid baseball fan, knowing every statistic on each player and every game ever played. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patrice Meschnark; sons, Raymond J. Meschnark III and Jeffery Kidd. Raymond is survived by his sons, Robert Meschnark, Thomas Meschnark, Roger Kidd, Alan Bufford, Glenn Meschnark, Stephen Meschnark and David Meschnark; and daughter, Christina Meschnark Schofield. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., in Boulder City
