Raymond Piechocki Obituary


RAYMOND PIECHOCKI Raymond T. Piechocki (Ray The Roofer), 65, of N. Las Vegas, was peacefully reunited with his granddaughter, Katie, in Heaven Dec. 25, 2008. Ray served in the U.S. Army, he was a disabled veteran and a retired roofer from Chicago. He worked hard all of his life, loved his family and animals and was a wonderful provider and protector. He was also a great gardener who helped feed many people, especially the elderly in nursing homes. He enjoyed fixing things around the house, polishing his old cars, loved watching tv, especially Judge Judy, Nancy Grace, The Three Stooges and the Dallas tv series. He is survived by and will be deeply missed as the loving husband of 45 years to Bonnie; father to Dion, Sherry (Richard Augustyn) and Christine Piechocki; papa to his dog, Roxy and cat, Giz; gumpy to BayBee Boy, Miss Kitty, Willie, Dill, Pickles, Fee Fee and Gremmie; brother to Joan Hayes, Carol Paprocki and Christine Adams (Robert Adams); brother-in-law to Jerry "Pussmo" Davidson (Diane Mitchell) and Anthony Pestka; "Uncle Ray" to Teresa, Michael, Kristin, Lisa, Tommy, Andrew, Joey, Makayla, Kelly, Shannon, Colleen, Tracy and Scooter. Ray is now joined in Heaven with his parents, Theodore and Helen Piechocki; father-in-law, Toivo Davidson; mother-in-law, Ruth Davidson; brothers-in-law, James Davidson, Robert Polka and Joseph Hayes; sister-in-law, Nancy Pestka; granddaughter, Katrina Bhambra; in addition to many other family members, pets and friends. Dad, we love you and we'll miss you here on earth, but we all take comfort in knowing that you're with Katie now in Heaven. What a special Christmas gift she received! Love, your family. Services are private.
