Richard Dover Obituary

RICHARD DOVER Richard Todd Dover, 42, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2007, due to complications from a recent surgery. He was born June 3, 1965, in Cody, Wyo. Rich graduated from Valley High School in Las Vegas. He had lived in Salt Lake City for several years before moving back to Las Vegas, where he spent the remainder of his life. Rich was a mortgage broker. He loved golfing with his friends and family and especially with his pal, his Dad. He was most often found attending various sporting events with friends and family. Rich so loved spoiling his nieces and nephews, and doing things for others. He was always there to help others when they needed it, and he was the best big brother you could ask for. Rich was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Ilene Dover and Grant and Beth Robinson; and by his beloved aunt, Patti. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Jan Dover; his sisters, Tracy Larson (Todd), and Jenn; his brothers, Steve (Toni), and Mike; his partner, Shaun Gleed; his ten nephews, Justin, Dylan, Jason, Jake, Broc, Cody, Dakota, Carson, Cory and Jaxon; and his four nieces, Devynne, Cadie, Mikelle and Tayler. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, with services immediately following, both at the LDS Serene Building Silverado Ward. Graveside services will follow at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
