Ryan Fitzgerald Obituary

The Fitzgerald family will forever be in mourning with the unexpected passing of their precious child, Ryan A. Fitzgerald. Ryan died in the arms of his mother and father June 30, 2006, at the young age of 22. Ryan was the treasured and beloved son of Brian and Cyndi Fitzgerald, and the adored brother to Dane and Jordynn Fitzgerald, both of Las Vegas, and Kelli Tubinis of Niagra Falls, N.Y. Ryan was life-long resident of Las Vegas. A much-loved and well-respected young man with a bright and promising future, Ryan was a full-time, pre-med student at UNLV. When not studying, Ryan could be found at Gold's Gym engaged in his true passions: weight lifting, health and fitness. He was kind, loving, loyal and generous to anyone he called "my friend" and shared a deep, very close bond with his parents, brothers and sisters. Ryan had model-good-looks, a charismatic personality and an incredibly sharp and brilliant mind. He had everything going for him except time. A celebration of Ryan and his life will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, July 14, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas. Ryan's family will begin greeting guests one half hour prior to services at 6:30 p.m. Ryan is now in the loving arms of his grandmothers, Cecelia (Kulak) Rydzewski and Irene (Urillo) Fitzgerald; grandfather, Robert (Buddy) Fitzgerald; and uncle, Gary E. Fitzgerald. Ryan leaves behind a multitude of broken hearts including his fiancee, Jen Fowers; best friends, Ryan Shadrick and Gabriel Lara; grandfather, Richard "DZIADZ" Rydzewski of Niagra Falls, N.Y.; uncles, Rick (Patricia) Rydzewski of Wichita, Kan., Donald (Bonnie) Hubbard of Niagra Falls, N.Y., Ronald Hubbard of Niagra Falls, N.Y., and Sean Fitzgerald of Las Vegas; loving cousins; and life-long friends. While we will be eternally grateful for the 22 years Ryan shared with us, his passing leaves an emptiness and sadness for which there are no words. His kind heart and loving spirit leave us with the fondest memories of a life well lived.
