Arthur was a family man. He helped a lot of my relatives in Poland during the communist era. When my husband Andrew and my son Leszek emigrated to the USA (Bismarck, ND) as political refugees, Arthur and Veva came to visit us to check on how we were doing and ready to help in anyway he could. Arthur and Veva also visited us when we moved to Massachusetts. I now live in Edina, Minnesota and Arthur has kept in touch with me over the phone. The last call that I received was in April. When we spoke he newer complained about his health and talked about how glad he was to have a healthy brain. Arthur was very proud of his heritage and always made an effort to speak in Polish language to me. Arthur's father was my uncle, born in Poland. My family in Poland and I will pray for Arthur on All Souls Day this November 2nd. "Niech spoczywa w pokoju".
