Dorothy Stanko Obituary
Dorothy was also a dedicated employee who managed United Area Federal Credit Union for 28 years.
In her early years, Dorothy played basketball and ran track for her high school and won many awards and trophies. Later in life Dorothy enjoyed the sports of bowling and golfing and excelled in them as well. She also loved traveling the world with friends and family.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home in Sterling Heights MI, from 2:00pm until 8:00pm with a prayer service at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 20223 at St. Basil Byzantine Catholic Church 4700 Metro Parkway Sterling Heights, MI 48312. Instate at 9:30am until the time of Mass at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial contributions to Tunnel to Towers Foundation. www.bcfh.com

I´m sorry to hear of Dorothy´s passing. I worked at Motor City Co-op CU when she served on the board. She was a great leader and inspired many in the credit union industry. My condolences to her family.
