Just learned about the passing of Marlene. I worked with her at Collins and also taught Tony and Raquel. She was such a sweet lady and good mom. I am so sorry for your loss.

When you speak of Marlene speak not with tears, for thoughts of Marlene should not be sad. Let memories of the times you shared give you happiness and comfort, knowing how she loved and is loved by all. May "God bless" all of you during these difficult times

I remember meeting Marlene at school, in the girls bathroom, of all places! We were combing our hair. We talked and laughed, many days in that bathroom! Marlene was always smiling, always friendly. I moved away after high school, but Classmates reconnected us. Blessings to Marlene's family and friends. She was just as wonderful as everyone says!

Reflecting back on an enthused asset to the programs offered at the local elementary. She was Mom' before & after class hours providing caring, nurturing... a genuine interest in the children's well being. She helped to give the children a since of security with interesting, engaging enrichment activities. The staff was appreciative & supportive of her involvement. She was an invaluable part of the teaming for student success. She touched a lot of lives in a positive, memorable recall. She is looking down with a smile for sure!

My heart felt sad today to learn the news of Mrs. Manzo. She was a wonderful Latchkey Mom to all the kids there. While at work, it was such a comfort to know our daughter, Lynn Marie, was in Mrs. Manzo's care. I will always remember her smile, kindness and love and will always hold her in the highest honor. Mrs. Manzo is now in God's home in heaven surrounded by angels and will never be forgotten. With Love and very deepest sympathy to the Manzo family.
