Angela Rowland Obituary
Macon, GA- Angela B. Rowland, 76, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at a local hospital. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with burial in Riverside Cemetery, North Gate. The Rev. Phil Anderson will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 - 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rowland, wife of the late J. C. Rowland, was born in Fort Benning the daughter of the late Rev. Joseph Herman and Mamie Adelle Hoyle Bishop. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Mercer University and was an Administrative Assistant retired from the Medical Center of Central Georgia after twenty-six years. Mrs. Rowland was a member of Northway Church. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
Survivors include those she loved most, her children, Margie (Jim) Denney, Kathy (John) Leone, Michelle (Keith) White; beloved grandchildren, Jaime, Paige, James, Brooke, Hope, J.C., Joseph, Ashley, Matthew, Abagail, Kaleb, Jordan, Daniel, Hannah, Noah, John-Luke, Jaron and Emma; eighteen great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Howard, brother, Jimmy (Patty) Bishop; several nieces and nephews.

I have known Angela for many years through Church and Sunday School at Northway. She was a very loving, kind, caring person. She will be missed so much by all of those who loved and cared for her.

I will miss Angela forever. I loved her and she was very special to me. She shared her deepest feelings with me and I was honored she trusted me to that degree. I am so sad to know she is not here with us anymore but I am truly grateful to know she is with the Lord. As my granddaughter said to me in December after the death of my brother who passed away with a similar disease: We can rest assured "Angela" can now breathe easily in perfect heaven with our Creator.

I served with Angela in the Source at Northway and got to know her through that. She was a good friend who loved The Lord and others. Praying God's comfort for her family who will miss her the most.

Rowland Family - I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Ms. Rowland at the Medical Center. She was such a sweet, caring and funny person. She was always more than willing to share her knowledge to help someone. She took the time to answer questions on how things were done for the "newbies" when we arrived. She was a blessing and she will be missed. May the Lord comfort and keep you.
