Macon, Georgia - A Celebration of Life for Antoinette Yvonne Thorpe will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Congregational Baptist Church, 868 Hazel Street, Macon, Georgia 31201. Reverend James Mann, Officiating. Interment - Union Bibb Cemetery, 7181 Zebulon Road, Macon, Georgia 31220. Viewing, Friday at Hutchings Funeral Home, 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Yvonne was born to the late William J. Howard, Sr. and Mattie M. Howard. She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, William J. Howard, Jr., Shirley Howard-Hedgeman, and Ruth H. Starke.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Mauri G. (Derrick) Lockhart; grandchildren, Mia, Celina, Kendall, Jordyn, Maddox, and Drew Lockhart; siblings, Wendell D. Howard, Charles E. Howard, James E. (Patricia) Howard, and Rosabelle H. Gordon; and a host of relatives and friends.
