Arthur Edge Obituary

Arthur Edge -MILLEDGEVILLE - Funeral Services for Arthur Bray Edge, age 82, will be conducted at 11A.M. Tuesday, August 12, 2008 in Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alex Ward officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. -Mr. Edge passed away Saturday, August 9, 2008. He was a native of Johnson County. He had made his home in Baldwin County for most of his life. The son of the late Arthur and Tillie Perry Edge. He was a retired Heavy Equipment operator for Baldwin County, and was a Veteran of WWII having Honorably Served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Edge was a member of Northside Baptist Church. -Survivors include his sons, Bray Edge, Jr. of Lithia Springs, Greg Edge of Oceanside, Calif., Jerry Edge of Dublin, GA, Kirk Edge, Brian Gladdin and Ron Edge, all of Milledgeville; daughter, Pam Hendricks of Atlanta; former spouse, Helen Edge of Milledgeville; brother, Perry Edge of Dublin; grandchildren, Aaron Edge, Kaleb Edge, Raegan Edge, Sarah Gladin and David Gladin. -The family will be at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. -Express online condolences at www.williamsfuneralhome.net -Williams Funeral Home & Crematory of Milledgeville in charge of arrangements.
