Macon, Georgia - Funeral services for Barbara J. Summerow-Norfleet will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 20, 2025 at Greater Friendship Baptist Church, 1220 Rev. J. L. Mills, Sr. Way, Macon. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Hutchings Funeral Home, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
Burial services will be private.
Hutchings Service.

My sincere condolences to the family, friends and church family.
I first met Mrs. Barbara at Dr. Brooks office over 30 years ago, and we have been friends every since. My mother and I love Mrs. Barbara. We always pass by her former place of work and think about her everyday.
Mrs. Barbara was a beautiful lady, and always so kind. Her main pointer to me when I come in the doctor office crying because my blood pressure was up. Don't cry baby; you know Dr. Brooks is going to get that B.P. down. Then she would give me a hug. That's the only thing would calm me down. That was my Mrs. Barbara.
Mommie Dearest and myself will always and forever love our Mrs. Barbara; and will continue to talk about her whenever we past Dr. Brooks office.
Mrs. Barbara, may your soul rest in heavenly peace.

Barbara was my beloved cousin.She was generally a quiet person; but I enjoyed being in her presence, especially at out annual family reunions. Barbara truly loved her children and grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by family and friends.
