Ben aka Carpenter Jesus - This news recently reached me and I am at a loss for words. Too soon. Ben and the Loper family took me in as their own while I spent my college career in Milledgeville. Ben was like a brother to me. Ben was one of the most caring, unselfish people I have come across and I will never forget all the memories we made during my time in Georgia and beyond. I will keep Jody, Hal & Carla in my prayers along with the rest of the Loper family. Stay strong. Ben is hanging with Carl in a better place now looking down on all of us.
Your friend,
TJ aka Baby Jesus

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
Ben will be dearly missed by the Smith family. He was so kind to our children, and we have so many fun memories together watching football, celebrating birthdays and holidays, playing games, and laughing. Were thankful to have experienced many years of friendship and joy because of Ben.

Ben was the love of my life, my soulmate, my heart. He was my whole world. He was the kindest man. He wouldve given to anyone in need regardless if they were friend or stranger... he didnt care. His heart was so big and he was so smart. We were a team and best friends. I miss him every day, and I keep praying I will wake from this nightmare. I will love you forever and always my wookie, my falcon, my love. Thank you for the best years of my life. I will be with you again one day.
