Charles Jackson Tyner
Savannah, GA- Charles Jackson Tyner, 53, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wed, February 26th, 2014.
The family will meet friends on Monday, March 3rd from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. for visitation at Southside Baptist Church in Savannah Georgia located at 5502 Skidaway Road.
Funeral services and a celebration of his life will be held on Monday, March 3rd, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in Savannah Georgia at Southside Baptist Church. A private burial will be held at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Southside Baptist Church, Savannah Georgia.
Charles Tyner was born in Macon, Georgia to the late William Thomas Tyner Sr. and Carole Marie Tyner-Pritchett. He was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas Tyner Sr., brother, Horace Clay Tyner, step-sister Angela Delgado, step-sister, Lydia Davidson and step-sister Trudy Bernard.
Charles worked at Zantop Airlines for 20 years before pursuing a career in real estate and general contracting. He was a dedicated father of his son, Stephen Tyner, and adored his wife, Shannon Tyner. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed a good laugh. Charles loved his grandchildren, was a devoted and loving husband, brother, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of thirty three years, Shannon Tyner, of Savannah Georgia, son Stephen Alexander Tyner, daughter in-law Lindsay Tyner, brothers, William "Billy" Thomas Tyner Jr, James "David" Tyner, Mark Anthony Tyner, Henry Eugene Pritchett, Jr., sister Salina Newton, step-sister Wendy Lynch, step-sister Gloria Trotter, step-sister, Scarlet Durant, step-sister Penny Aysh, step-sister Valorie Moore, grandchildren Mary Kate Tyner and Nora Barlow Tyner.
