Daniel Elliott Cannon "Danny", 75, of Macon, Georgia entered his heavenly home, Thursday, June 15, 2023, surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Wheeler Heights Baptist Church located at 4318 Riggins Mill Road, Macon, Georgia 31217. Pastor Gary Lamb will serve as the officiant. Daniel was born on March 22, 1948, to the late Marion Elliott Cannon (Tony) and the late Lillian Joyce Collins Cannon. Daniel was a handworker and a great provider. A loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves. He was also an avid lover of motorcycles. Daniel was retired from Hutting Sash and Door after 30 plus years. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Sharon Cannon; his children; Lisa (Glyn) Corbitt, and Mark (Sheena) Cannon; his grandchildren; Ashley Corbitt, Rebecca (Kevin) Barlow, Ivy Grace Cannon, William Cannon, and Dax Cannon; his great-grandchildren; Austin Richter, Landon Barlow, Olivia Mullis, Lily Barlow and Grey Mullis. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the American Kidney Foundation. Richard R. Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Services has charge of the arrangements.

I´m Rickey Kitchens and Danny and I were growing up friends at Dry Branch. We played together, rode the school bus together and went to school together!! I just read his obit tonight or otherwise I would have been at his service at Wheeler Heights!! He was a great friend and I´m so sorry to hear of his passing!!!!

Sharon and family - thinking of y´all during this time and praying for peace and comfort that only God can give in our time of sorrow. I will always remember his grin at Grandma Rigby´s house and he always made me happy when he was around. I know you two had loved each other deeply and he will be dearly missed. Prayers for all.
