Friends and loved ones of David,
Your thoughts and expressions of love are greatly appreciated. The loved ones that were by his side at his death witnessed a brave soldier, who fought a good fight and finished his course.
As they committed his soul to the safe keeping of the gracious and merciful heavenly Father, there was peace in knowing all was well.
He will be missed by all of us.

Your father will forever be in my memory and in my heart. He was one of the kindest most gentle men I have ever met. It was an honor and a privilege having known him. What a true gift you were given in such a wonderful husband and father.

I got to know David well when we both served on various committees in the Georgia Municipal Association and together in the Middle Georgia RDC, where he served as a member of the board. His dedication to the task at hand was unsurpassed. He and I have both fought the same form of cancer. I am saddened to learn that he lost the biggest battle of his life. He was a man of extreme courage and all who knew him admired him. May God be with the family at this difficult time.
