Dear Betty, David, and family, Just saw about your recent sad loss. We are so sorry to hear about your son, David. There is no loss through death like the loss of a child. One never recovers, although life does go on. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Betty and Elmer Johnson

Dear Ms Joyce & Mr David,
I just received an e-mail about David. I was so sad to hear about his passing. Even though I haven't seen him in years, I have such fond memories of him as well as your entire family when we were growing up. I especially remember playing in your "bomb shelter". We thought that was so neat...you were the only ones I knew of that had one. I also remember riding with David to put "vote for me" brochures in all of the mailboxes for his dad. I know David will be missed by all who knew him & especially by the "Class of 1968"... Your entire family has my heartfelt sympathy.
Love,
Jan Smith Silliman
