D.C. Childs -Bonaire - D.C. Childs expired Thursday, August 14, 2008. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 11A.M., in Piney Grove Baptist Church. Interment Beulah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Childs was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and a retired Civil Service employee. He was also the owner and operator of Childs Wrecker Service. -Survivors include his son, Daniel E. Childs; sibling, Mrs. Eunice Jackson and Mr. Willie Talton and a host of other relatives and friends. -Nelson's Memorial Mortuary D.C. Childs

I can't remember the last time I saw or spoke to Mr. Childs, But I do remember back in the late fifties and early sixties D.C. was a very close and respected friend of mine. He always told me if ever I needed anything come to him. He held that saying up. I can never forget him and his family. My deepest condolences goes out to his family and friends.
