Warner Robins, GA- Doris Jean Waller Sylvester, 64, entered into rest on January 1, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Doris was born on December 15, 1949 in Opelika, Alabama to the late Otto and Dorothy Whitman Waller. She retired from Robins Air Force Base where she worked in civil service as a Helicopter Flight Manual Manager. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her former husband, Terry Sylvester; sons, Robert "Rob" Mattingly (Lisa), Josh Sylvester (Tracey), all of Warner Robins; step son, Richard Sylvester (Melinda), Lake County, Florida; brother, Donnie Waller, Opelika, Alabama; eight grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
Visitation will be Friday, January 3, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
