Dylan Akers Obituary

Kathleen, GA- Dylan Akers, 22, entered into heaven on Thursday, March 13, 2014.
Dylan was born on February 19, 1992, in Perry, Georgia. His short time here will be cherished and remembered by his family and friends. Dylan loved fishing, spending time outdoors and being with his friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Carolyn Akers and Lamar Peavy.
His memory will forever be treasured by his mother, Cheryl Magerkurth (David), Kathleen; father, Mark Akers, Kathleen; grandfather, Ray Akers, Kathleen; grandmother, Amelia Peavy, Perry; as well as his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Celebrate Recovery, Southside Baptist Church, 1040 S. Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, Georgia, 31088.

Ralph and I are devastated by the loss of Dylan. He was such a beautiful child and I have fond memories of Dylan working in reverse inclusion with my kids. He is a wonderful soul and I pray for you each and every moment. We shall see him again!

Dylan was my son's best friend. Gary and Dylan were always together until Gary's move to Louisiana. I am still in shock and Gary and myself are devastated.
