Chadwick "Dusty" Mumpower

Kathleen, GA: Chadwick "Dusty" Mumpower, age 44, of Kathleen, GA formerly of Bulls Gap, TN, gained his wings Sunday, February 22, 2026. Dusty was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the Iraq War having served in the Tennessee Army National Guard, 2nd/278 Armored Calvary Regiment and the 1st Infantry Division (2001-2006) and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle. Dusty loved playing with his children. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was a computer gamer. Dusty was preceded in death by his father, Sonny Mumpower; maternal grandparents, Thomas and Martha Gulley; paternal grandparents, Fred and Alma Mumpower.

He is survived by his loving wife of 8 years, Cassandra Mumpower; children, Aiden Mumpower and Haylee Mumpower; mother, Cookie Mumpower of Bulls Gap; sister, Brandy Gregg and husband, Eddie of Bulls Gap; brother, Travis Mumpower and wife, Brittany of Mt. Carmel; nieces and nephews, Hope Horton, Gavin Gregg, Luca Gregg; mother-in-law, Debi Spayth; brothers-in-law, Dustin Spayth and Michael Spayth; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of close friends and other family members.

Visitation hours will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home, Rogersville.

Funeral service will be conducted 7:00 P.M., Sunday, March 1, 2026 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Gulley and Rev. Terry Bunch officiating. Graveside service will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 2, 2026 at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery, Bulls Gap. Military honors will be provided by the Morristown VFW Post#5266 Honor Guard and the U.S. Army. Those who wish to go in procession to the cemetery are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:00 A.M.
