Trula Mae Drinnon

Trula Mae Greene (Drinnon), age 82, of Mooresburg, went to be with the Lord at her home on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

She was a member of Old Mountain View Freewill Baptist Church in Bean Station, Trula was a devoted Christian woman. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sibling who will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Greene; parents, James and Thelma Drinnon; granddaughters, Amanda Robinson and Amy Elizabeth Locke; several siblings.

She is survived by her daughters, Eugenia Greene and Lisa Brewer; son, Richard Greene; grandchildren, Leslie Locke, Chasity "Niki" Thacker, Rebecca Holzworth, Eugene Brewer, Adam (Ashley) Greene, Tiffany Greene, Noah (Mackenizie), and Brandy (Todd) Pait; 17 great-grandchildren; and several siblings,

The family of Trula wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the nurse of UT Home Health Hospice.

Visitation hours will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm with Rev. Larry Miller and Rev. Bob Simpson officiating. Music will be provided by The Myers Family.

Graveside service will be held Friday, February 27, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Gilliam Cemetery in Mooresburg. Anyone attending the graveside service is asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 pm Friday.
