Frederick "Fred" Kammer III

Frederick "Fred" Kammer, age 56, of Eidson, TN went to be with the Lord at Hancock Manor while surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, February 22, 2026. He was born on September 2, 1969 to Frederick Jr. and Darlene Kammer. Fred was retired from Hawkins County Hwy Department, where he truly cherished his work and made lifelong friends. Fred loved spending time with his family and most importantly, his babies: Stetson, Remington, and his dog, Pearl. He was a member of Clinch Valley Fire Department. There was never a time you didn't see Fred eating or hear him say "no doubt", "it is what it is", or "I reckon".

He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Kammer Jr.; brother, Tim Kammer; grandparents, Bertha Anna Kelley "MomMom" and George Kelley "PopPop" and Frederick William Kammer Sr. and Mary Kammer; special family members, G.W. and Christine "Granny" Hartley.

He is survived by his daughter, Christina (Dakota) Seals; sons, Freddy (Samantha) Kammer and Cody (Emily) Albright; grandkids, Stetson and Remington Seals; sisters, Deb (Terry) Davis and Vickie (Jerry) Davis; brother, Matt Kammer; special friends, Pedro Seal, Ben Wallen, Tim Stubblefield, Jason Pendleton, and fellow co-workers at the hwy department.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Hancock Manor Nursing Home, Mattie North, and Dakota Seals.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral ceremony will begin at 7:00 pm with Rev. Tanner Ferrell and Rev. Robbie Johnson officiating. Graveside service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Hicks Cemetery located at 220 Wolfe Rd. Sneedville, TN 37869.
