Macon, Georgia - Mr. Garry Undra Holmes passed away at his resident on May 2, 2025.
Garry Undra Holmes was born on September 05, 1959 in Macon, Ga to parents William and Lucille Wilson Holmes. Garry was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Wilson Holmes.
He leaves behind a loving father William Samuel Holmes, son Jeremy P. Holmes (Nyketa) Holmes; Siblings, Sterling (Jamenica) Holmes, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Holmes and Damon (Arnesica) Holmes; grandchildren Kayden Holmes and Aniya Perkins. A devoted lifelong friend, Charleatha Holmes; aunts,uncles,nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist 996 Oglethorpe Street, Macon, GA 31201

Garry and I worked at the post office together and he was such a wonderful friend and co-worker. I haven't been in contact with him for a long time but I think of him often. I'm saddened to hear of his death. Praying that your memories bring comfort during these trying times.

Garry and I attended Morehouse College together in Atlanta. I recalled there was a strong bond with the fellows attending Morehouse from Macon and Garry and I certainly developed and maintained a strong bond together during the 4 years we attended school.
