God saw that you were suffering
And a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you
And whispered, “Come with Me.”

Through tears filled years, we watched you suffer
And slowly fade away
Although we loved you deeply,
We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands were put to rest
God broke our hears to prove to us
He only takes the best.

Tosha & Tiffany
Tears are God's gift to us. Our holy water. They heal us as they flow. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow but looking back in memory will help comfort you tomorrow. May God Bless You and Your Family at this time.

Trinika Pounds

November 1, 2012

She turned me to the sunshine,
And encouraged me to dream:
Fostering and nurturing
The seeds of self-esteem.

And when the winds and rains came,
She protected me enough;
But not too much, she knew I'd need
To stand up strong and tough.

Her constant good example,
Always taught me right from wrong;
Markers for my pathway
To last my whole life long.

I am my Mother's garden,
I am her legacy.
And I hope today she feels the love,
Reflected back from me.
