Its already been 6 years! I still miss Greg and remember all the intellectual debates, the music, the sheer silliness of being young together. We had only reestablished contact a couple of years before he passed but at least we returned to each others' lives. He was my Best Man in Susan and my wedding and was the spiffiest one there. Miss you brother!

Greg was a great friend and best man at my wedding. I miss him dearly. In hindsight I would have stayed in better contact with him and been a better friend, but regrets are useless, Greg would not have wanted us survivors to dwell on our shortcomings. The world is a better place for having Greg

Greg and I met in undergrad at West Georgia, then a college. It was 1980 and I was supposed to be a senior, but managed to change my major enough times to put graduation off for another year. Greg was my friend then and after we both left WGC. He was the Best Man when I married my wife Susan in 1990. Susan and I moved to a Texas but we stayed in touch and Greg visited me here in 1995. The contacts got fewer through the years but I have always considered Greg to be one of the best friends a person could wish for. He was more interested in other people and helping than anyone else I've ever known. I sent him a birthday greeting on FB this year, I don't know if he got it but if I could rewrite that thing I would tell him how much he meant to me and so many others. When I found out he had passed, I was stunned. Here it is almost a week later and I.have a Greg-shaped emptiness in my psyche. My most sincere condolences to theVseteckas and all the others who care about this deep, authentic man!
