November 11, 1944 - July 25, 2024
Macon, Georgia - Funeral Services for Henry Nelson will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 at Duresville AME Church. Interment Services will follow at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Nelson, 79, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Nelson; children, Cynthia (Josephus) Mason, Paula Nelson and Sharon Nelson; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Public Viewing will be held Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 4 PM until 5 PM ONLY.
Jones Brothers Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

I have know Henry since Elementary school.We were very close friends even going into adulthood.
I a saddened and my heart is broken to know tha my long time fried and buddy has left

With Deepest Sympathy! Hearing that Henry had passed comes with great sadness and pain. I have known Henry since I was in the 3rd grade. We both grew up in East Macon, and finish School together in 1964, at Peter G. Appling High School. May Adonai's Shalom be with both family and friends during this time of moaning.
