Gray, GA- Ms. Jan Nutt passed away on July 22, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 10:00AM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032. Dr. Jason Wade and Reverend Danny Lyles will be officiating with burial following at Baldwin Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Macon, GA 31201.
Jan is predeceased by her father Anderson Nutt; son, Andy Horton; and brother, Gary Nutt. She was retired from Rheem Manufacturing and was on the planning committee for Relay for Life for 20 years in Milledgeville.
Jan is survived by her daughter, Heather Jackson (Scott) of Gray; grandchildren, Christopher and Emily Jackson of Gray; and mother, Lorene Nutt of Gray.
