Jesse Edwards Obituary

Jesse Prentice Edwards September 1, 1960-July 20, 2011 -GARDEN CITY - Jesse Prentice Edwards, age 50, of Garden City, GA, formerly of Macon, GA, went home to be with the Lord today. Jesse was a professional handyman by trade working from Georgia across the south over to California. He also served briefly with the Georgia Army National Guard. -He is the son of the late Prentice Edwards (2008) of Macon, GA and Effie (Albert) Gauley of Slidell, LA. -He is survived by his siblings, Vann (Cheryl) Edwards of Macon, GA; Minnie Johns of Fort Worth, TX; Joseph (Lynn) Edwards of Picayune, MS; Oscar (Debra) Edwards of Fort Mitchell, AL and Robin Parker of Kiln, MS. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. -Memorial services will be held at 10A.M. on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Dean Forest Baptist Church in Garden City, GA with the Reverend Guy Boyd officiating. I hadn't seen Jesse in a very long time (probably late '70s). I remember him as being a fun loving, full of life young man. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Edwards family.
