Jimmie Smith Storey -NEWNAN - Jimmie Smith Storey, 85, died Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at Peake Healthcare in Macon. Services will be 2P.M., Saturday, May 3 at McKoon Funeral Home Chapel in Newnan. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Newnan. -Mrs. Storey was a long time member of Elim Baptist Church in Newnan where she lived most of her life. She retired from Coweta County School System as a School Lunchroom Manager at Western School after 27 years. She enjoyed church activities, gardening and cooking for family and friends. Mrs. Storey was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Storey and parents, Alton and Annie Austin Smith. -Survivors include her daughter, Susan Milam of Macon; grandchildren: Dr. Chip Milam and wife Dr. Emily Sikking of Los Angeles, Shane Milam and wife Christy of Macon and Elizabeth Milam of Macon; great-grandchildren: Hannah Elizabeth Milam of Macon and Hugh Milam of Los Angeles; sisters-in-law: Christine Wade and Sarah Smith, both of Newnan. -The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00P.M. at McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan and may be contacted at the home of Judy and Quinton Clark in Newnan, 770-253-1131, until after the service.
