Gary grew up and married the love of his life, Martha Chambers Fraker, in 1960, and raised three children. He worked for Delta Airlines and retired after 30 years of service.
Gary's love was woodworking. He loved making anything with wood and was very
meticulous, making sure what he made was perfect. He could spend hours in his shop making items for family or his home. Gary was also a master gardener and definitely had a green thumb. His yard was always beautiful with lots of flowers, bushes, and trees.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Martha Chambers Fraker; sister Pat (Harry) Stooksbury; children Angela (Scott) Kilgore, Pam Wyatt, and Chris (Angie) Fraker; grandchildren, Kimberly and Brandon Fraker, Dylan (Ashley) Wyatt, and Katherine (Mack) James; great-grandchildren, Cora and Gary James, Jessica and Jackson Wellborn, and Justice Wyatt.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 6 - 8 PM at McKoon Funeral Home & Crematory, 38 Jackson St., Newnan, GA.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Turin Memorial Gardens, 29 Church St., Turin, GA.
