Dear Duward and Dwayne, I did not know your Dad had passed as we moved to south Georgia in 2006. Sometimes your Dad would get so mad with me and then sometimes he joked and laughed with and at me. I know that he is and was well respected by people in the finance business. He helped people when they had a financial crisis. I'm sorry that I didn't know or I would have made an effort to come to Macon for the services. All of you will be in my prayers even after all this time.

Dear Family,
I am sorry to hear about your dad. He was a wonderful person to me. I worked at Crest for several years for him. He always took care of us no matter what the circumstances were. He was very thoughtful and kind to many people. I will never forget him. I will keep your family in my prayers.

Christian greetings Pat, Duwand, Dwayne and family. I was so sad to hear about the passing of my friend Jimmy Benson. I felt it a honor when he ask me to do the M C work for him at the concerts in Warner Robins. I have his picture on my wall where I was interviewing him on WBML Radio when I was general Manager there
Sorry I could not be there for the funeral. I now live and pastor a church just out side of Columbia, Tn.
Our prayers are with you all

To the Benson Family: I had wondered why the absence of Southern Gospel Music in Middle Georgia lately and now I know. Jimmy just did not feel up to the work involved. Can I tell you that he provided the very best in Southern Gospel to a large population of Georgia for years? There were times when I questioned whether he broke even on a concert. Still, he carried on. He was one of the finest gentlemen that I have known and I believe I am richer because of it. You are very lucky to have had Jimmy with you for so long. Jimmy is already missed. The staff he brought to the Warner Robins Civic Center was just outstanding. God Bless all of you. I share your sadness.
