Joe Smiley -EATONTON - Joe Smiley, 51, passed away on August 8, 2005 at Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 2P.M. on Friday, August 12, 2005 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 2005 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Al Sihah Shrine Temple, 222 Mecca Drive, Macon, Georgia 31206. -Mr. Smiley was born in Hazlehurst, Georgia. He graduated from Northside High School in 1972 and at one time was a points leader at the Warner Robins dragway. He was an avid fisherman. His wife, Patti Smiley; mother, Faith Smiley; brother, Keith Smiley, preceded him in death. -Survivors include his father, Carroll Smiley, Eatonton; sister, Vicki Smiley Laidlaw, Guntersville, Alabama; daughter, Jessica Smiley, Warner Robins; son, William Smiley, Warner Robins. -Go to www.mcculloughfh.com to sign the Online Registry for the family. -McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
