Lithia Springs, Georgia - Private (Family Only) Graveside Services for Joseph D. Farrar will be held 12Noon Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Highview Cemetery, Jones County. Mr. Farrar, 73, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021.
Survivors include his wife, Shedeena Farrar; four children; Carla Pitts, Raymond Hixon, L'Tara Farrar and Tamera Farrar; five sisters; Eloise Meardith, Diane Adams, Lynn Akins, Jocelyn Horton and Eliza Benjamin; four brothers; Johnny Farrar, Harold Farrar, Jesse Farrar and Jonathan Farrar; ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Public Viewing will be held Friday, March 19, 2021 from 4PM until 5PM ONLY.
SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE MANDATORY AND FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
Jones Brothers Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

Sorry to hear of J D's passing. We were classmates at Maggie Califf High School. We reconnected a few years ago and he and I enjoyed talking about the old days in school. He will be missed. Remember earth has no sorrow that Heaven can not heal. Be Blessed!

I remember when I relocated to Georgia the Farrar family included me and my family as if we were part of their family. JD always made sure I was ok and treated me like I was one of his little sisters. I can't believe he will not be walking this earth I will miss not seeing him at those family gatherings. Much Love to the family, JD rest in God's love.

I have such great memories of JD and I loved listening to the stories his nephew, Jarvis told. His sense of humor will definitely be missed. May the Lord bring comfort to this family. RIP JD.
