Drew and family , Dr. Counsell and myself could not name a more respectable man than your grandfather. Loved and liked ,even by his competitors. Mr. Wayne , way the definition , of a God fearing , respectable citizen. A good man ( no a great man)was lost with his passing.

Ms. Rebecca and Family,
I sure will miss Mr. Wayne being here, as so many other people will also.
He was a very accomplished man and touched many lives along life's way.
You are one of the nicest couple's that I have been blessed to have in my life. You have an awesome family.
Celebrate Mr. Wayne's life and the legacy that he has left from all his hard work.
Thanks for your friendship to my family over the years.
God Bless you all.
Peace!

My friend Wayne Battle was a great individual. Friend, business dealings, serving together on a board-the same soft spoken Wayne was there.
When he spoke I could not help but notice everyone stopped and listened. I am aware that we all will be forgotten over time. Wayne is no different. But we can all be consoled that his memory will be remembered by his children, grand
children and on and on for years. Deserved.

We'll sure miss you, Wayne. You were one of the finest men in the lumber business. Bless you,
