To the Cawthon family especially Whitney,
My first thought when I heard about Mr. Julian's death was he will be re-united with his sweetheart "Kete". I always enjoyed the company of Mr. Julian mostly on the golf course or at church. He was a pleasure to be around with his good sense of humor and likable personality. We have lost another of the greatest generation, but all that knew him have some wonderful memories to cherish. May God be with all of your sweet family as you go through the grieving process.

To the Cawthon family, I was lucky enough to meet Mr. Cawthon many, many years ago and always found him to be an extarordinarily caring, friendly, and warm person. I know he will be deeply missed by family and friends. My thoughts are with you at this time of sadness.

It was a pleasure knowing and being around Julian. We played many rounds of golf together and I always enjoyed his humor and good attitude. Perry has lost another special man, but we were fortunate to have him here as a friend of many.

I,m very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Julian. I only knew him a short time, but many times I had heard my grandaddy speak of him. Often he would talk about what a fine man he was. Always hold on to those memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mr Julian was an inspiration to me early in life. He taught me many of lifes lessons when I worked for him at the Perry Super Foods. I knew him as a good and decent man. Perry has lost another of the Greatest Generation. My sincere sympathy to the Cawthon Family.

The Perry community is indebted to Julian Cawthon for all he did to help make our city what it is today. His business ventures enabled young people to have jobs when they were in high school and Julian taught them much about life as he worked with them in his business. He was always an active supporter of community events that helped promote Perry. He was a good business man and a good friend to many. He will truly be missed.
