Lamar Johnson Obituary

Lamar H. Johnson -EASTMAN - Mr. Lamar H. Johnson, age 65, of Eastman, died Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at the Dodge County Hospital. -Funeral services will be held at 3P.M. Thursday, September 23, 2004 from The Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Tim Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. -Mr. Johnson was owner and operator of Johnson Recycling and other businesses. He was a member of the Eugene Smith Masonic Lodge and a Shriner. -He is survived by his wife, Louise Johnson of Eastman; three sons, Merle Johnson, Greg Johnson and Cecil Johnson, all of Eastman; mother, Varnie Johnson of Harrison, GA; one brother, Floyd Johnson of Harrison, GA; nine grandchildren also survive. -The family will receive friends at Horne-Towns Funeral Home from 7:00 until 9:00P.M. Wednesday evening. -Horne-Towns Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
