Linwood Gantt Obituary
January 14, 1948 - August 27, 2014
Warner Robins, Georgia- Mr. Linwood Gantt, Jr. of Warner Robins, passed on Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Funeral Services will be 11am Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Fellowship Bible Baptist Church , 431 Dunbar Road, Warner Robins, Georgia. Reverend Charles Dumas Sr, Pastor of St. Luke AME Church in Forsyth officiating. Burial at Rest Haven Cemetery in Forsyth, Georgia.
Survivors include his daughter, Monica (Duffie) Ball; sister, Alfreda Gantt; six brothers: Floyd Gantt, Kenneth Gantt, Herbert Gantt, Alfred Gantt, Ralph Gantt and Reginald Gantt; two devoted friends: Marilyn Gantt and Ernest Roquemore.
A vistiation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at St. Luke AME Church, 143 James Street, Forsyth, Georgia.
Freeman Funeral Home in Forsyth has charge of arrangemens.

My God, I am so shocked and sadden to learn of my friend's passing. After calling both of his phone numbers for months and Getting a recording of "No longer in service", I begin to feel uncomfortable and decided to Google his name. Though I was somewhat afraid of what I would find, I didn't know it would render me the the stunning shocking that did when his picture appeared with his obituary. It saddened me so, so deeply. I have lost a TRUE FRIEND; Linwood Gantt was that to everyone who he knew. I feel guilty to know that my friend has been gone from us for so long and I am just finding out. So,
My sincere belated condolences to Monica, Marilyn,na and the Gantt family. I share your lost. We worked together in the in the Air Condition Shop on the Base. He was a great person and is still a great Spirit to be cherished. I truly regret that I didn't get to see him and hang out with him recently. I pray that God continue to strengthen and comfort you throughout this season. My prayers and uplifting thoughts are with you. Fight the Good Fight; Stay the Course; Keep the Fight.

To Monica, Marilyn and the entire Gantt Family. I'm sorry for your lost and my lost too. Linwood was my best friend and like a brother to me. He took me and my family into the Gantt Family and also his church St Luke AME. We always greeted each other with "Hey Buddy" with a hug.
