Lucille Gresham Obituary

Lucille S. Gresham -MACON - Lucille S. Gresham, 82, of 224 Primitive Road, Jeffersonville, died Monday in a local nursing care facility. Funeral services will be held at 11A.M., Wednesday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue, with burial in Macon Memorial Park. The Rev. Steve Johnson will officiate. The family will meet friends from 7:00 until 9:00P.M., Tuesday at the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence of Mrs. Awilda Tanksley, 105 Alicia Court, Macon, GA 31216. They ask that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the church or charity of the donor's choice. -Mrs. Gresham, wife of the late James Virgil Claude Gresham, was born in Ty Ty, Georgia the daughter of the late Edward Buren Smith, Sr. and Mattie Rilla Beck Smith. She was retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church. -Survivors include her sister, Awilda Tanksley of Macon; five brothers, John L. Smith and Albert L. Smith, both of Jeffersonville, Charles Felton Smith of California, Robert Cecil Smith and Harry P. Smith, both of Macon. -Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue, has charge of arrangements.
