Nancy Temple Obituary

Nancy Marie Martin Temple passed away in her sleep on November 8th following a brief illness. She was 72.

Nancy was a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Nancy was born in Glendale in 1939 but made Santa Clarita her home for almost 40 years. She spent close to 45 years in the motion picture industry working as a film technician at Technicolor, Movielab, and Deluxe before retiring at the end of 2001. She enjoyed reading, Notre Dame football, and spoiling her two grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her son, James Temple (Gabrielle) of Saugus, grandchildren Paige and Ross James of Saugus, brother, Bill Martin (Patricia) of Hillsboro Oregon, nephew Patrick Martin (Robin) of Durango Colorado, and niece Elizabeth Jacobs (Howard) of Portland Oregon.

Services will be Saturday, November 19th at 11:00 am at St. Clare's Church 19606 Calla Way in Canyon Country with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Nancy Temple Memorial Scholarship through the College of the Canyons Foundation in Santa Clarita (661-362-3493).

James writes, "My mom was a great lady and a good friend. She will be missed by all who knew her."
