Warner Robins, GA- Neal Kakley, 60, entered into rest on Monday, September 25, 2017.
Neal was born on March 5, 1957 in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late William P. and Bernice Litchfield Kakley. He graduated from Monument Mountain Regional High School in Great Barrington, Massachusetts where he was affectionately known as "Chic." Neal was a business graduated of Berkshire Community College and worked for Custom Extrusion, Inc. for 15 years. He married his wife, Bya on September 30, 1989 and their son, Brent, was born in June of 1991. They moved to Warner Robins in 1992 where he went to work at Sunbelt Plastics where he was President of the company. Neal later went to work for First Response Services where he was currently employed as a business manager.
An avid sports fan, Neal enjoyed watching football, particularly the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons. He also had a passion for coaching his son and other children in soccer and was a member of CGSA. Neal loved playing golf with his son Brent and enjoyed watching golf with his family. He was also ski instructor at Butternut Basin in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. Another one of Neal's greatest joys was cooking for his family and friends!
Neal leaves his memory behind with his loving wife, Bya J. Kakley and son, Brent William Kakley, both of Warner Robins; brother, Paul Kakley of Great Barrington, Massachusetts and sister, Doreen Kakley of North Adams, Massachusetts, along with his extended families, The Litchfield's, Shepard's, and the Furey's.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29th in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. At the family's request, his burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to a fund benefiting Neal Kakley's family. These gifts can be made payable to the 'Neal Kakley Memorial Fund' at CB&T, Houston Lake Branch, 315 S. Houston Lake Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
