I still think of you often, Peyton. You will always hold a very special place in my heart.
I thought of you the other night when I found a photo of ABE. I remember how you were the only other person he liked.
love you, barb

Deyerle, Reid, Laura and Elisabeth,
I returned home last night to find an e-mail telling me of Peyton's passing. I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I was Peyton's roommate at Darlington for approx. two years. After school, we both drifted apart.
Shortly before christmas we traded a few brief e-mails and voice messages. We never actually got to speak to each other. I will forever regret that.
Peyton seemed to have continued on in life as I had last seen him, a kind and good friend to all lucky enough to cross his path. We will all miss him. My prayers are with you and your family

Dear Reid, Laura, and Deyerle,
The world is a poorer place without the kind, gentle, caring guy we knew as Peyton. He left a legacy that will enrich many lives.

I am a vet student at Auburn and had the pleasure of working with Peyton while on my equine surgery rotations. He was a wonderful person and fabulous at his job. We will miss him deeply.

To The Hanson Family,
My two sisters, Tracy and Ashley, and I grew up next to Peyton, Laura, and Reid. Laura used to "babysit" us. We all carpooled together. We had so many good times as little kids. Then ya'll moved and we kind of lost touch. I have kept up with you through the years through Tracy. We have thought of you often. And of course, Peyton and Reid fulfilled my child hood dream of being Veterinarins and working withanimals. I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I will pray for your family.
Love to all of you,

My heart goes out to you all. Peyton was a wonderful friend whom I've know since I was 10 or 12 when he became my cousin by marriage.
I have been blessed in the last year to spend a several nice times with Peyton @ Great Oaks, laughing, sharing and remembering the times we shared showing Morgan Horses, riding motorcycles and watching Saturday Night Live with Joanie and Evie. We had been planning to do it again - soon. Of course, in hindsight, I wish it had been sooner. Love to you all. Please let us now if there is anything we can do.
