i miss you you are in a better place than i will ever be see you later in heaven

Rhonda, our dearest. 6 months have passed and we miss you so much although we know that you wouldn't come back even if you could but would tell us to keep fighting the good fight, keep the faith and make it on in, after all where you are is where we all are striving to be.

A lot has happened in this last 6 months but I know you already know because you were there in spirit with us all. You were there when your dearest friend Kelli and Brian were married and again when cousin Wendee and Jeff tied the knot. Could you believe she finally took the leap. She's making a good little mom to Jeff's little boys. And, Rhonda dear, was that not WILD with Uncle Winky and Vern doing that lap dance at the reception. We needed those laughs.

At the hospital when we walked that 3rd floor parking bridgeway so many times in going through the valley of the shadow of death with you (as you were entering into ETERNAL LIFE) we have walked it again, but this time to celebrate a new little life in the birth of cousin Kelly and Bob's baby, Joseph "Lane". Oh what sweet joy. And we know in the future coming up soon will be cousin Skeeter and Trey's little "girls". I can't wait to see Aunt Debbie a "GRANDMA".. Want that be something...And Rhonda we know that we know with all those prayers reaching HEAVEN, that even sooner than we expect, your sister Mickie and Shane are going to make some PROUD and HAPPY grandma and grandpa's out of your daddy and "T" and your mama and David. We are hanging on to that with all our being..believing, trusting and asking in FAITH that in our "ABBA FATHER's" time it will be done..

Now, it's July and we've all helped your daddy get through his birthday. We missed you at the blow-out but we know you were there amongst us where you will always be. It's hard, the hardest thing ever, but we know you'd have us to go on and do as we have to do as we go on through our life here.

And Rhonda....can you BELIEVE that blood drive that was held in the memory of you and in honor of your upcoming earthly birthday. It was only fitting that we give back life to those in need and it was such a success. And you must KNOW how much we love you to have seen your mother give blood for the first time (and at top notch SPEED may I add) and your Aunt Paulette being such a cry baby when it comes to a needle and only the 2nd time in the chair (and I must add at TOP NOTCH SLOW SPEED)...but we made it and did it all for you..and will do it again...along with the rest of the family...cause you are and will always be SPECIAL...

I'll sign off here and until later always know down here we miss you and all the others you are now with. Tell your grandpa he'd never believe how "Brown Dog" looks now. So full of thick, thick hair that he's just PLUM PRETTY and still fat and happy with WANKY...

P.S. I almost forgot to put in my special request to you...would you and Mama stay really close to HAYLEE BUG being she's finally turned "Sweet 16" and got that vehicle...at least it's nice to have "DEPOSITS" in HEAVEN to rely on...Jesus' helpers...

To Rhonda's Family,

I have just learned of the loss of your precious Rhonda. I have been a friend of Paulette's since the beginning of time and through her have known Rudy, Linda, Debbie and Winky (Laverne). We don't keep in touch often enough so I didn't know anything about this until yesterday. I talked to Rhonda before Christmas for just a few minutes, actually trying to find another Hulett. She was so sweet and helpful. I know this has got to be the hardest thing you have ever gone through but the Lord has his arms around you and will comfort you. I heard so many great things about Rhonda from Paulette. Please know you are in my prayers.

To the family of Rhonda, I am very, very sorry to hear of your loss. Rhonda and I studied MicroBiology together. She was the first one I talked with about the grade I received, and she called me about hers (December 2003). I just found out today, 04/20/2004 about what happened to her. Again, I am very, very sorry. We were hoping to go through Nursing together. This is such a shock.

Our sweet Rhonda, we are still in a state of shock and disbelief that you are no longer walking this earth with us. Hard to believe a month has passed because the pain and heartache is just as strong and fresh as it was when Jesus came down for you. We miss you so very much and hardly a moment goes by each day that you are not in our thoughts or that a wonderful memory comes flooding in. Thank you Rhonda honey for being the sweet, loving, wonderful, generous, kind daughter you were - we love you so very much and will be looking for your sweet smile again someday. All our love, Dad and T.

Rhonda Lynn,

There is not a day that passes that I do not think about you and ask the question "Why". For the longest time I could not answer that question nor come to any conclusions that would justify it. Now I can. I want you to know that YOU have opened my eyes along with may others that were only half open. I am another person on that long list of names that you have touched and changed lives of. "Thank You" (And just to let that beautiful smile be seen by all those around you, You have even opened the eyes of My Daddy and your Uncle Winky).

Tell Grandma Flossie, Grandpa Pete and Granny Hinson I said hello and I love them. (Oh yeah, pass the word along the Brown Dog almost got a squirrel last weekend. ;) )

We LOVE and Miss you. ~Wendee

There are few people that have had such a positive impact on so many lives...Rhonda touched all those she came in contact with. Her kind and gentle spirit will always be remembered and will forever live within our hearts. She will be greatly missed by those of us who knew and loved her dearly. I will keep my precious memories with Rhonda close and look upon them fondly with much joy. It has been such a special blessing to have had Rhonda be a part of my life. My deepest sympathy to Mickie & Shane, Rudy & Teresa, Linda & David, and the family. May God give all of you peace, strength, and comfort in knowing Rhonda is with him and shines as one his brightest angels.

I knew Rhonda thru her Grandmother (Flossie Hulett). When I lived in Jacksonville, Ga. Flossie's grandchildren were # 1 on her list.

When she would be getting ready for her Grandchildren we would go to town and buy thier favorite foods. She knew them all. I wondered how she did it. It was a great joy of hers. She would plan things for the older ones to keep them busy. You can guess how children are if they are not busy. Flossie was a great planner.

When it was Rhonda's time to visit she wanted her by herself, not with any of the other grands. She would just light up when Rhonda was around. I loved Flossie she was like a sister to me. I knew when she was up or down. She would tell me She was going to get Rhonda about a week before time. Each time she would tell me about Rhonda as if she never told me before. She would say, you see the china in my china cabinet that is Rhonda's. She would go on to tell me how Rhonda's Dad gave it to her & how she was saving it for Rhonda.

Well I guess Rhonda is with Flossie, in a place they do not need China.

You see I only knew Rhonda thru Flossie, I went with her to take her back to Macon. Ms. Flossie had the most love for all her grandchildren. She would have 3 or 4 at a time for a week. But when it was Rhonda's time, it was just Rhonda if Flossie had a say so. Now I know why, they are together again as God's Angels.

Our Sweet Rhonda...how you touched so many with your life and now even as you are in Heaven you are STILL making a difference in so many lives here and will always continue to do so - you are so special to all of us. We know you are up there in the BABY department of Heaven helping with the little ones because God had to pick a very special "angel" for that BIG JOB. Someone as caring and loving and full of compassion as you was needed. We miss you so very much and we will all take care of your DADDY, "T", Linda, David, Shane and Mickie until that glorious day when we all shall meet again with you and our other loved ones already there. I believe that when He called you home our family circle became so glued together with prayer that it will not be broken and we shall ALL be together again one day in Heaven . This poem I read as a tribute to you because it depicts how you SPENT YOUR DASH so rewardingly during your short precious 21 years while here among us. We love you dear and miss you so very much... Aunt Paulette and Uncle Andy

The Dash

I read of a man who stood to speak

At the funeral of a friend.

He referred to the dates on her

tombstone

From the beginning...to the end.

He noted that first came her date of

birth

And spoke the following date with

tears,

But he said what mattered most of all

Was the dash between those years.

(July 29, 1982 ------- Jan. 25, 2004)

For that dash represents all the time

That she spent alive on earth...

And now only those who loved her

Know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own;

The cars...the house...the cash,

What matters is how we live and love

And how we spend our dash.

So think about this long and hard...

Are there things you'd like to change?

For you never know how much time is left,

That can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough

To consider what's true and real,

And always try to understand

The way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger,

And show appreciation more

And love the people in our lives

Like we've never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect,

And more often wear a smile...

Remembering that this special dash

Might only last a little while.

So, when your eulogy's being read

With your life's actions to

rehash...

Would you be proud of the things they

say

About how you spent your dash?

We first met Rhonda at church. She has the sweetest spirit and quiet way about her. One of my favorite quotes is "We can not do great things only small things with great love." I learned from all of the things said about her and from knowing her personally that Rhonda lived this quote. Through her work at the hospital with the smallest ones and her way of dealing with everyone she came in contact with Rhonda's quiet way made an impact. I can't imagine the feeling of loss that you're dealing with. Please know that we will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers today and in the days to come. But remember...you will see her again in a new and refreshed body! God bless you all and may you feel His presence very near.

Dear Family of Rhonda- Bill and Nancy Bethune had requested prayers

for Rhonda in The Nan Freeman's Sunday School class at Martha Bowman Memorial United Methodist Church. Bill stated this morning that she had gone to heaven and we were all sadden that her time on earth had ended, but know God has plans for all of us. Know that others that did not know Rhonda had her in thoughts and prayers.

Rhonda has a sweet testimony, I say has because her testimony will live on forever in the lives of the people she has touched and through those who will touch others because of her. Even in her death many people were drawn closer to God and some were drawn to a relationship they had never known.

Thank You Rhonda for a life well lived even though it was so short.

To Rhonda's Family:

I am so happy I had the pleasure of knowing and meeting Rhonda. My brother, Josh Ragan, was a good friend of hers, as she was to him, and he always had nothing but kind and positive things to say about her. The times I got to talk to her she always greeted me with that precious smile and sincere sweet voice of her's, with nothing but kind words to say about everybody. If only more people could be as gracious as Rhonda was, this world would be a kinder place. Josh has always spoke highly of her and in his eyes she has always been an Angel to him. She will be missed greatly, but never forgotten. She made a positive impression on each and every person she met. There are so many wonderful memories of Rhonda that each of us will cherish forever. Rhonda I will miss you. I know you are in heaven looking down on all of us, help me watch over my baby brother when I can't be there, because you always took care of him while you were here with us! I love ya.

If there is anything we can do please let us know. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

With Deepest Sympathy and Regards,

Rhonda will always be in my heart and your family will always be in my prayers. I am happy to know that Rhonda and I shared many memories since the first time we met in Girl Scouts. This time apart is just temporary and I cannot wait to give Rhonda a huge hug once I meet her again in Heaven. God Bless!

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We both know how you feel as we lost our son at the age of 21 on 8/12/01. You've got a long road ahead of you, but be as strong as you can relying on God for all your strength. Do whatever it takes to get you through each day as long as it's not immoral or illegal.

I only knew Rhonda for a couple of years, but she touched my heart from the first day I met her. She was one of the sweetest, kindest & caring people I've ever known; she had a special "glow" about her & I could see love in her eyes. She always seemed so happy every time I saw her or talked with her & she was always smiling. She was an inspiration to those that knew her. I consider her one of God's Angels & will remember her in that way. Bless her heart, she's with our precious Lord now. I pray that the Lord will give her family & friends peace & comfort during this time of grief. God be with each one of you.

Oh my sweet Rhonda honey, cannot believe you are no longer with us. I miss you so very much, miss everything about you. But we know that we will see that sweet, beautiful, loving girl of ours again. You are and always will be a child of my heart, for you filled it completely the moment we met. I love you much, T.
