Robert "Bobby" Eugene Sheehan, Jr.

Macon, GA- Robert "Bobby" Eugene Sheehan, Jr. died Thursday, November 14, 2013. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Vineville United Methodist Church with the Reverend Jimmy Duke and Dr. Jimmy Asbell officiating. Private burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with Military Honors. Family will greet friends between 3:00-5:00PM on Sunday, November 17th at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vineville United Methodist Church, 2045 Vineville Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204 or donor's favorite charity.
Mr. Sheehan was a lifelong member of Vineville United Methodist Church and a member of the Mack Anthony Sunday School Class. He was a graduate of Lanier High School for Boys and Middle Georgia College and also a member of the Golden Kiwanis Club, Bell South Pioneers, the American Contract Bridge League, and the Macon Duplicate Bridge Club. He retired from Bell South after 38 years. Mr. Sheehan was a Navy veteran serving in World War II and was predeceased by his parents, Robert Eugene Sheehan, Sr. and Fannie Lee Hamlin Sheehan; and his brother, John Wesley Sheehan.
Survivors include his wife, Clarice Giddens Sheehan; son, Rob Sheehan of Macon; daughter, Cynthia S. Elliott (Gregory) of Macon; son, Michael A. Sheehan of Cumming; grandchildren, Catherine Elliott of Alpharetta, and Taylor Sheehan of Cumming; sister, Betty Farr of Macon; and brothers, Dr. William E. Sheehan of Seneca, South Carolina and Richard Sheehan of Columbus.
