Roy Mullis Obituary

Roy Cloyce Mullis -COCHRAN - Roy Cloyce Mullis, age 75, died Sunday in the Medical Center in Macon. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11A.M. in Cedar Hill Cemetery. -Mr. Mullis, born in Bleckley County, had lived most of his life in Pulaski County and Bleckley County. He was the son of the late Leroy and Evelyn Cook Mullis and was preceded in death by his brother Billy Mullis. He was retired owner and operator of Scott's Bar-B-Q and retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and member of the Hawkinsville Masonic Lodge. -Survivors are his wife, Lillian S. Mullis of Cochran; daughters, Tracie (Doug) Kitchens and Charlotte (Steve) Cannon of Cochran; grandchildren, Colby Kitchens, Carlee Cannon and Dayton Cannon of Cochran; brothers, Jimmy (Cathy) Mullis of Oglethorpe and Ronald Gilbert of Lilburn. -The family is at 125 Mullis-Fordham Road and will greet friends from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Faye and I were saddened to hear of your loss.May Gods peace be with each of you during this sad time.

Lillian,as we chat about fond memories of BNC we always would say how devoted you were to Roy.. It's a pleasure to know of the sweet times you two had during your time together. I can still see the sparkle in your eyes when you would share a story about you and Roy.

Tracee and Doug...so sorry to hear of Mr. Roy. We had lots of pleasant conversations when I would stop in for lunch while working in Cochran with Fedex. He was a good man and will be missed. May God give you all peace during this sad time.
