Macon, Georgia - Services for Shirley Brinkley-Bowden are 12:00 PM Friday, August 9, 2024 at Unionville Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens.
Born in Macon to the parentage of the late Mitchell, Sr. and Daisy King Brinkley, she graduated from Ballard Hudson High School and worked and retired from the Bibb County Board of Elections.
Survivors include: children, Eric Bowden, Keziah (James) McClary and Angela Chandler; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Elizabeth King; brother, Mitchell (Sandra) Brinkley, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
