Milledgeville, Georgia - Thomas Gerald Mullis, age 86, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022, in Milledgeville, Georgia. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. with Services to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Moores Funeral Home in Milledgeville, GA.
Mr. Mullis was born in Cadwell, Georgia on December 29, 1935, to the late Judson David Mullis and Eddie Mae Smith Mullis. He was a graduate of Cadwell High School and Berry College. Mr. Mullis moved to Jacksonville, Florida and worked with Barnett Bank, retiring as Vice-President of the Trust Division. He was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children; Frances McDaniel Mullis; and his second wife, Martha Childers Mullis.
Survivors include two sons;Thomas Gerald Mullis, Jr., (Mari) of Milledgeville, GA and Kevin Mullis (Charlene) of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren; Regan Mullis, Zachary Mullis, Hailey Mullis and Ryan Mullis; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Berry College in support of the Graden Mullis scholarship fund.
