Thomas Stephen Parker
September 11, 1942 - November 17, 2022
Warner Robins, Georgia - Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Stephen (Steve) Parker passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022, his loving family with him all the way. Steve was born on September 11, 1942 in Milledgeville, Georgia to Earle Rutland Parker and Evelyn Ramsey Parker.
Steve graduated high school from Georgia Military College in Milledgeville. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia Institute of Technology and did graduate work at Georgia State University. Steve served in the United States Army and in the Reserves, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. His great loves included the outdoors and sports. He refereed and umpired football, basketball, and baseball. Steve also loved to dance, and he was a trivia genius.
Steve is survived by his cherished and beloved daughters: Cathy Parker Strickland (Bill), Stephanie Parker Curry (James), and Maggie Parker McAllister (Micky) and their families. Steve maintained a sweet and close relationship with his siblings: Ramsey Parker (Betty Ann), Martha Parker, and Madge Parker Magura (Stefan). He leaves behind six grandchildren and two great granddaughters. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earle Rutland Parker and Evelyn Ramsey Parker.
Steve chose cremation. A celebration of life memorial will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Steve's honor to the Georgia Alzheimer's Foundation, Inc.
