Mary Hodges Obituary

Hodges, Mary, 82 of Fort Lauderdale, passed away on Thursday July 28, 2011. Mary grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to Hollywood, Florida in 1945 where she met her beloved husband Roland Hodges. They were married for 63 years. She enjoyed life to the fullest. Traveling, snow skiing, bridge, Children's Opportunity Group, and Fort Lauderdale Yacht Club. Survived by Roland Hodges, sons Chuck and Bill Hodges; daughter-in-law Janice Hodges; grandchildren Chad Hodges, Nicole and Bobby DiMattina, Lindsey Pickel, Tyler and Zack Shuler; great-grandsons Bailey Pickel, Dylan and Cruz DiMattina. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Care of Southeast Florida. Services at First United Methodist Church (101 SE 3 Ave.) on August 3, Wednesday at 3 p.m. Condolences may be shared at www.FredHunters.com

I am so sorry to hear that Mary has died. Although I met her several times, I did not know her as well as some of her family, and they will be in my thoughts and prayers.
