Virginia Curtis Creighton, age 88, of Macon, Georgia, peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 27, 1932, in Thomasville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late V. V. Curtis and Ola Beverly Curtis. She was married for 49 years to the late Maurice H. "Clag" Creighton. Mrs. Creighton was the owner and operator of Creighton's Dress Shop and was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved shopping, traveling, lunches with friends, and an ice cold Coca-Cola.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Curtis Singletary and brother, Thomas Vinson Curtis.
Surviving are children; Michael Creighton of Macon and Beverly Creighton Stewart (Robert) of Sky Valley; grandchildren; Allison Dixon and Bobby Stewart (Lauren); great-grandchildren; Tripp and Cameron Stewart.
Private Memorial Services will be held Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the home of Robert and Beverly Stewart, 95 Saddleback Circle #398, Sky Valley, GA 30537. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Liberty United Methodist Church, 6511 Houston Rd, Macon, GA 31216.
An online guest register is available and may be viewed at www.habershamcrematory.com. Habersham Crematory (678-617-2210) of Cornelia is in charge of arrangements.

Often thought of your mother and wondered where she was. Sweet lady who bought the cutest clothes for her shop in the 80´s. She knew exactly what would look good on everybody who shopped with her.
I know you will miss her and her award winning personality.
She sure loved her children and Clag.

My mother and dad traveled on the bus with Virginia on many trips. I had the pleasure of meeting her when she sat most of the night with us at the hospital when my mom had surgery which she never woke up from. I traveled on one of the bus trips and your mother and her friend Rita made the trip a real pleasure. Both my parents loved her. I know my mother was happy to greet her on the Angel Express bus trip to Heaven. My thoughts and prayers for the family she loved so much.
