Vivian Anderson Obituary

Vivian Hay Anderson -MACON - Vivian Hay Anderson, 93, formerly of Stanislaus Circle, died Friday, November 8, 2002. Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 9, 2002 at 10A.M. at Riverside Cemetery (North Gate) with Dr. James C. Dant and R. Chix Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Hay House, 934 Georgia Avenue, Macon, GA 31201. -Mrs. Anderson was the wife of the late Halstead Tindal Anderson and the daughter of the late P. L. Hay and the late Maude Saxon Hay. She attended Wesleyan College and Finch Finishing School in New York. She was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist, Idle Hour Country Club and the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. A founding member of Middle Georgia Historical Society, she was also active in numerous civic and philanthropic endeavors including Junior League of Macon and the Nathaniel Macon Chapter NSDAR. -Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Carolyn Anderson of Macon; Grandchildren, Billy Anderson, Andy and Helen Anderson, all of Macon, and Sam Anderson of Atlanta; Great-grandchildren, Kate Anderson of Jacksonville, FL, Tindal Anderson, Maggie Anderson, and Riley Anderson, all of Macon; Sister, Betty Hay Curtis of Macon; Sister-in-law, Virginia Hay of St. Simons Island, GA; and several nieces and nephews. -Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

I work at Southern Trust Insurance Company and may god bless Mrs. Anderson for having a wonderful family for whom I work with. She lived a good long life and will be bless in heaven. May god watch over the rest of her family.
